Urban farming coming soon to Newark!

EcoVeggies takes urban agriculture to a new level with the latest in hydroponic farming. Newark’s latest clean ‘n green endeavor is EcoVeggies, a hydroponic/aeroponic farm that will grow high quality, pesticide free vegetables, and herbs in eco-friendly greenhouses that we will construct inside city buildings and on rooftops.

Hydroponic farming is remarkable because it’s extremely efficient. It utilizes ten times less water than conventional agriculture on a lot less land. We’ll grow crops with nutrient added re-circulated water that will produce a consistent yield of healthy, pesticide free crops. We will do this in highly efficient greenhouses that we will build in Newark neighborhoods that will provide much needed jobs to urban residents.
